I agree, I think that term is thrown about too easily, often to our detriment. We dominated possession but that was in both teams game plan, it was an inevitability rather than a signal of our superior ability.
We will be have the lions share of the ball in every game we play. Even if we played someone like Everton or even Spurs, I think we would have the lions share of possession, but could well lose 5-0.
They (Luton) would be far more happy with their execution of their game plan than we would be with ours, so in that sense they dominated the game. We played pretty much as everyone expected us to.
We didn’t do enough to win, can’t complain with the loss. On another day may have come away with a draw though, but can’t have any complaints that they won the game. |  |

Few snapshots and a few headers that went over. Never felt like we were under any real pressure to me. Obafemis one on one was gilt edged. Cabango and piroes headers much better opportunities than anything they created. But as usual we missed them. | | | |

Few snapshots and a few headers that went over. Never felt like we were under any real pressure to me. Obafemis one on one was gilt edged. Cabango and piroes headers much better opportunities than anything they created. But as usual we missed them. |
They had two free headers in and around the 6 yard box, I was expecting the net to bulge both times. They also had a couple of cross/shots dribble across the face of goal only needing a touch. They could have got a few which is the concern given the amount of ball we have. Their goal was one of their tougher chances and they took it extremely well to be fair to them. | |

They had 1 shot per 2.5% of possession.
We had 1 shot per 4.9% of possession.

They were also playing within themselves. Some barely broke sweat. No point as they know the ball will not come to them anything but slow.
