We all live in south Wales and there is a culture of political patronage at work especially in governmental institutions. However Swansea city is a private enterprise. I have already pulled up Killkenny for this 'slur' for the academy appointments.
Are you saying this appointment is putting personal friendship s above qualities for the job?
Are you saying the role is not very important?
Are you saying the Chairman is deliberately appointing an unsuitable candidate.?

On what basis do you make this statement?. He has a promotion to Premier league on his CV afterall. He has been pretty open with the fans.
He did not sack Cooper. Cooper walked. This season Cooper did not have to beat Thomas Franck.

So …. You are saying that … wait for it …. Over some many years, almost every Swans Academy coach has lived/born within 10 miles of the Liberty. Few have meaningful pro backgrounds. Even fewer have worked at other academies.
But …. This is defo not jobs for the boys. Its always the best candidate, honest gov … Based on probability alone, your position looks like fake news.
Thats it, that the pretty weird position you are pushing in defence of the seemingly indefensible.
I just want our academy players to have the best possible coaching. Not sure what your motivation could be ?
