Despite attempts to scupper our charity work on Swansea independent we have received news from the brain tumour charity regards lastest fund raising.
Dear Swansea Independent
We're so excited to announce that, thanks to inspiring individuals such as yourselves,we’ve exceeded our fundraising target for our 'bright minds vs brain tumours' appeal! Together you've raised more than £127,000! This is only possible thanks to the continued commitment and support of our incredible community. We'd also like to thank our corporate partners Child's Farm, Benesys and Allports Group, as well as the James Clifford Campling Trust for their generous pledges to our appeal.
The money you’ve raised can help us make sure the brightest minds in research are working towards a cure. We can continue supporting the future leaders in the field to build their careers and invest in the best researchers working right now to take on brain tumours.
All of this could mean groundbreaking new treatments and better quality of life for people affected by brain tumours, sooner — bringing new hope to families and giving those diagnosed more time with their loved ones. Thank you again for your support in raising this incredible amount of money as we continue to work harder and faster to accelerate a cure.
