Fans do not need to protest about a lack of funds. Fans need to understand they are in the privileged position of owners 21%. Huw Jenkins's took them out of the "Women's institute" level into potentially serious finacial players. Their man is in the boardroom transmitting the fans views. The man in the board room says to Arianstein and Gaeaf. "Our fans want you guys to get your wallet out in invest in new players now". The Arianstein on the board says "OK what is your contribution?" The Trust says "Er um nothing we have no money" Arian says "but we / the club gave you £900k over the years" The Trust says "Our fans do not want us to invest this cash they want your cash" Arianstein " I guess you guys have strange useless committee values over here right?. They do not like talking cash but principles? Kinda quaint Limey Sh~t is it Julian?" . "Something like that Jake" Welsh people should not act like peasants but strong leaders. The UK Government has reduced to many Welsh people into dependency and asking for hand outs. There £1,300,000 (with added £500k) doing nothing in the Trust account. They need to make at least a token gesture of at least £250k.

Can't disagree but shouting can sometimes lead to more proactive methods of showing displeasure but imo a return to what we witnessed during Petty's tenure would be hard to replicate in today's society , not saying it can't happen but unlikely, we seem to have become a society of accepting our lot regardless of what the situation is .

Show me the money. £1,300,000 getting no interest . What is it for with inflation heading for 18%?. At that level their cash will lose £234,000 this year in real terms. It has to be invested. I have explained it folks. You have all been to school. You can pretend to need to go home but it will not wash. Its your round. This is how i think it is how Levien thinks and how Silverstein thinks I would guess. "Now lets talk about that £500k shall we". "Do not run away."

Very true. They can't go anywhere if they can't find a buyer. There needs to be something achievable as the aims

Gone are the days of a buyer handing over a bag of cash in a service station. The club is worth a lot of money and there doesn't appear to be a long que of buyers. What will the banner say we want sustainability out we want sustainability out. Its nonsense.

Sadly I think you are right. This isn't some shyster from Oz, this is ( however much we may dislike them ) a professional company of investors ( although they haven't invested in us as such ) who will not be scared off or pushed around. Hell they are not even here to see any protests in person

Personally yes, people have better things to do with their time than to shout out against the owners because of the managers lack of direction at present surely ?

I have a horrible feeling that's where we're heading .The Club needs a positive reaction from Martin and Martin one from the players

Martins records suggests you are right. He is Tony Mowbray without the experience and with a more radical untested game plan. (one that is working only sporadically for 12 month). It can work against very poor sides like Peterborough but comes up well short against good sides. (Forest / Fulham) Martin's record as manager is littered with several big tonkings then pretty reasonable runs.

The US owners and the fans to a degree have bought into the narrative you and one or two other believe is a fairy tale. This narrative believes that over a period of a year or two Swansea will transform into a slick passing team where everyone does their job in the system and errors are eradicated. It is a reasonable prognosis. The only doubt in this is if Martin is the man to deliver it. Performances in keeping with the style are sporadic at best. Early season indicators with a raft of new players shows little or no sign of improvement. At present it seems last season 15th place is the likely result for this season. This is not acceptable. Martin himself has agitated the hot head with his latest pronouncements. He wants to move ever more players in and more players out. Garrick for examplegot 50 games last season. If he is not ready now he never will be. How did that loan help Swansea. it is j kicking the can down the road.

Six years yes. But people are realising we are at a dead end in terms of sellable assets. Piroe may be the last golden goose. No sellable assets = no signings. Where do the owners take us from here? They won’t spend their money. Silverstein’s loans are costing the club interest.
