Heard a whisper that the are coming out from the underground.
I wonder if they have ordered calling cards this time.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Six years yes. But people are realising we are at a dead end in terms of sellable assets. Piroe may be the last golden goose. No sellable assets = no signings. Where do the owners take us from here? They won’t spend their money. Silverstein’s loans are costing the club interest.

The owners put in as much new money as Silverstein.

We've spent significant money on Darling this summer, if he isn't a saleable asset in the near future someone's messed up. It doesn't take long for youngsters to go from having fans complaining how weak our bench is to see them there, to those same fans demanding the owners heads if they accept anything less than £15m for them. With Dan James it was less than 4 months. There's money in the 16/17/18 year old group in the academy if managed properly.

This is said every year and every year there is a saleable asset.

I think we all admit we are shite but the ‘promotion challengers’ up the road are 2 points ahead of us.

By the end of the season normal service will be resumed 👍

I’m sure you will have a new manager by the time we play you, no doubt they will start to perform then….

The thing is some have still got a bitter taste from Jenkins & co and some newer fans from the last 10-12 years or so excepted us to be back in the premier league now, we are a long way from that and I can't see us returning any time soon but we are at least a well established championship side now look at the likes of Derby, Sheff Wed even Ipswich.
Will we go down...maybe...maybe not look where Forest were this time last year.

I see us finishing mid table like last season and the journey will continue........

I will be happy if South West Wales and south Wales in general continues to churn out good local young players from the academy and manage to keep them for 3 or 4 seasons. This is the Jenkins / Morgan legacy.

Fans have be stoked up by mischievous forums that like to focus on back ground noise and "who said what to who" and issues of file keeping and contractual nuances.

In reality the Jenkins / Morgan era was huge success and they have acted in the best interests of the club and Morgan at least still does. The SCST on the other hand have performed very poorly and missed the chance to be serious players largely through a lack of ambition and bravery. The members wanted to be consumers not leaders.

Consequently they did not want to fill their boots with cash and invest in Swansea city. What hey wanted is more shares they could never afford in the PL, and more say in the running of the club. Given they are run with people for minority interest groups and rather dull accountancy people that is the last thin g the club needed.

Now they have settled for the "women's institute" position of "protection". This is protection of their "perks" and place in the boardroom and freedom from having to share in investments. They have voluntarily accepted the reduction of their share holding from the 20% to an nominal 5% in time.

Wise sage since Toshack era

I am more than happy with championship football my only remit is that its entertaining.

I'm sure many who have watched us for many years would feel the same.
