Bit of muscle on his arm, has he finally discovered gym work?

Out of contract in the summer after three grim seasons. He would be a massive risk for Swansea but then so was the so called troubled Flynn Downes.

Perhaps Swansea could sell Piroe for £12m and bring in OMcB of a free and a "tight leash" one year deal with good behaviour options for 2 more. He is a well trained and well rounded player good in all aspects of the game. His issues are off the field it seems.

I'd have him back in a flash, he would sweat blood and tears for the club, alas wages would be a problem.

Why would wages be a problem?. Who in their right mind would pay a troubled player with a liking for alcohol binges £30,000+ a week. He has been terrible for 3 seasons. He had not scored for months.

He will have to be realistic if he wants a new contract. Like Christie no one would pay him the wages he wanted and he has had to compromise and waste a month of the season.

You answered my question, yes i know wages would be a problem because of the reasons you stated but he might change and buckle down if he came back.

If he has a good season and scores 10-15 goals (he’s more than capable if he can get his head right) he’ll have plenty of suitors even on those wages.

Would live to see him back, was always a danger and knew where to be in the box.
However i don't think he could manage those exploits again in this side, we dont create nearly enough chances for our frontmen.

He thrived on crosses from Dan James/montero. We’ve got no wingers at the club now.
