| Dodgy ref at Liverpool ? 21:59 - Aug 31 with 858 views | KeithHaynes | Playing loads of extra minutes and Liverpool win last kick. Five mins of injury time. Ref plays nearly nine.

| Dodgy ref at Liverpool ? on 22:21 - Aug 31 with 768 views | raynor94 | In fairness Pope went down injured in the 94th minute, and Newcastle players were falling down with cramp, extra 2 minutes added. Mind I was gutted Liverpool won it | |

Not true. 5 mins is MINIMUM 5 mins (depends on what stoppages happen in added on time).

Also keepers catching the ball then laying on the ground with it and Fisher is one of the biggest offenders!

Is it time we followed rugby union and took the timekeeping away from the ref, have a hooter to go when time is up and the ball has to go out of play to end the half/match. I know time is up at 40/80 minutes in rugby because they stop the clock, but this could be modified.

Fisher caught the ball? I must have missed that. As others have said Newcastle's own fault for wasting time there is a new directive this season I believe.

This ^ Pope wasn't injured he was just wasting time, as were other players who were, in my opinion, happy with the draw. Maybe it was just Karma because if they'd just concetrated on playing time out instead of cheating, they may have gotten the draw.
