The people who did the Sunday Times list were, of course, world experts in their fields.

There is no equivalence.
The panel included people like Clinton, Yeltsin, Eric Fellner, Tim Berners-Lee, Sean Connery and many more.
They nominated a host of great people who have changed our lives over the centuries, from Einstein, Turing, Alexander Fleming, Darwin, Thomas Cranmer, Mozart and more.
In short a proper full fat job.

The only possible reason that you would want to challenge this is you dont want it to be true.
Well it is a fact, this is the list the the world experts agreed on.
Maybe its that we dont get taught our own history in our schools.
