With the news that more than half of the population now identify as "Non Christian", a trend which is increasing rapidly as demographics change and older, more religious generations die off, is there any excuse now for maintaining the links between Church and State?
Not to mention the long held tax free status of many religious institutions.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Tax them if their stashed away billions are not going to the poor that Christianity was meant to help!
The reason they should be taxed is because they divert money away from their own funds, away from the mouths of the hungry/foodbanks to pay for 'jobs-for-the-boys' youth workers, mission workers and outreach workers etc.... Many of them are doing (paid for 40 hours) only 2 - 4 hours a week, and are nothing but obscenely rewarded Sunday School teachers etc. It's a racket!
So when some hypocritical lefty-WOKE Archbishop or other starts criticising how the poor are being treated, just remember that he is the last person to speak on their behalf!
QUOTE: "The Church of England has a large endowment of £8.7 billion which generates approximately £1 billion a year in income (2019), this is their largest source of revenue. The 2019 Financial report showed that the size of the endowment has been steady or growing slightly in recent years, delivering a return of 10% (2019)."
Anyone on here willing to help pay for the church roof repair? Please dig deep!

I managed to avoid the State run perversions of the Catholic Church in Ireland, the effects of which are still profound
It is indeed not an urban myth that many nuns are the most sadistic and ungodly people on this planet!
I know someone pretty close who was brought up in a Catholic orphanage and the cruelty was gratuitous to the extreme.
Piano lessons did not bring much joy either, in fact it was the total opposite of, because it meant being whacked every time a wrong note was played along with other whacks for hesitancy whilst playing.

How many Catholics are there in Wales ?, where I'm from and where I live (a different part of Wales) there are hardly any left footers, where do they prey ?, I don't even know where their places of worship are. If you say Catholics this or that to me you may as well be saying Jews or Hindus this or that as there just aren't that many about, not that I know of anyway.
Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

With our European friends over here I'd say that there's more Catholics in the UK than any other Christian faith

Did you go to T Emory’s Jones in Kildare Street too.

The are very hard to spot, but I’ve heard they do have small lapel badges. 😉 Shhhhhh …
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

The Catholic school, St Joesphs is still there is't it? There is an RC church in Mumbles, Our lady star of the sea where my Uncle and Aunt and family all go.
There's a Hindu temple on Peniel green road too, the Guru Nanak.
FAO Wingstand, my uncles sister got pregnant at 16, she was sent to a Nunnery, the baby was taken away straight from birth and she never saw it again, she was beaten every day for being a fallen woman. She was in that Nunnery for over 40 years, she didn't leave until past 60. Strangely, to me anyway, she still goes to church every week, out in Boston where she moved to live wit her other sister. Lots of good Irish Catholics in that part of the world.

Sadly whether it be (mentioned that lot before!) Presbyterian or Catholic or American Evangelists etc you will always get some that deviate and abuse the name of God and their religion as a reason and an excuse to satisfy their hateful personalities, sadism and greed.
Indeed, not all are revolting vermin and many are the complete and utter opposite of!
