I saw every game in every round in that brilliant cup run.

That goal by Stanley Matthews was his final goal in professional football.

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

I was there, also at the replay at the Vetch.

Also at the Sheffield United game away and at the replay home.

Gutted to miss the Liverpool game but went to the Semi Final at Villa Park, it was an horrendous day.

Even pitch invasions were civilised affairs , notice the queuing

I was 14 and remember it well. Sadly. Asked my dad at half time how we could get tickets for Wembley. It was that close

The chaps we picked up in Pontadawe had accents I haven’t heard that often and struggled to understand wtf they were talking about but they did go on about my dads Rover car . I’m not sure motor vehicles were that prevalent in their village . ‘‘Twas a real adventure .

A very sad trip home fo4 a 14 yr old stacked to the skin and sunk by Brummie mud
