A group of them were there at the Watford game. They have been coming since 2012 when Ki arrived. They come to a few home games and the odd away game every season. Always sit in the lower South. Dedicated fans fair play.
I usually have a chat with them. Very nice people. A few new ones each time.
They will be at the Burnley game.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Ki's signing saw a lot more South Koreans go to Swansea Uni. No idea if this is still the case but it's one benefit of our higher profile when we were in the Prem.

Ki now there is a player who split fans opinion (same as De Guzman).

And I didn't, FWIW. Too slow for the Prem. But they loved him in S.Korea. Until he acted like he was bigger than their national team. But he helped our profile and battled hard until we got relegated. De Guzman on the other hand, I thought , was class.

I liked him apart from him having absolutely no bottle in the tackle.

Ki. The very first to down tools and see us drop.

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Carvajhal was the main person responsible for our relegation fella. Dreadful tactics when we'd given ourselves a good chance of survival with 8-10 games left.

He was back at the Club a couple of weeks ago , imparting some of his knowledegs to some of the Academy players , I think hes doing his coaching badges with the FAW , footballing wise he was a coward .Our last game in the PL when he was walking in , it was all smiles and nods , but that changed when a few of our more enthusiastic supporters let rip

I agree , he became more interested in his media than us which cost us points then to go to the last game v Shampton was a disgrace

Four and half years on I am still amazed how we managed to snatch relegation from the jaws of safety.
Think we beat West Ham 4-0 or something and went rapidly downhill from there ?

Not as big an apology as we should get from S Korean star man of the time.
He insulted us all by clearly not giving effort.
He was not alone
I felt a bit sorry for Carlos C .

Stoke game also turned the stomach

Soton managed by mark miserable guts too.

Fer getting injured forcing us to depend on Ki in the middle cost us relegation. We averaged nearly a point per game more under Carvalhal with Leroy in the middle of the park.

Carvalhal could only use what he had, and what he had in the Seoul Sh*thouse simply wasn't good enough.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

We only needed a cple of points from something like the last 5 games, with the 3 teams below us still to play.

That is right.
Gutting.
I remember we could have ( maybe ) stayed up by beating Stoke 10 - 0 or something ?
Lost to them too and they were awful

Ki was excellent on the ball, modern style in always keeping the ball for us.

JDG was even better. For me he pushes Leon and Joey hard for a starting place in a 2 man holding centre mid. You dont play centre mid for Nederlands 14 times if you cant play the game.

We were blessed.

Like others have said, the 2 home games at the end of the relegation season looked winnable. Gutted.

Beware of the Risen People

Agree that Fer's injury was a big turning point. Ditto, Jordan Ayew getting sent off at Huddersfield....that not only cost us a great chance to win there but lost us our main striker for another 3 games. That Southampton and Huddersfield stayed up and we didn't, though...still grates with me.
