| Tarrelle Whittaker leaves 08:40 - Feb 4 with 913 views | KeithHaynes | I genuinely thought he was one for the future. Mind you at 20. OS Swansea City Under-21s forward Tarrelle Whittaker has joined Wealdstone on a loan deal with an option to buy, subject to international clearance. The 20-year-old joined the Swans in the summer of 2021, having previously had a spell on the books of Tottenham. He has featured for the under-21s over the last 18 months, and has nine goals to his name so far this term. Whittaker links up with National League Wealdstone for the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign, as they look to force their way into the play-off picture. Everyone at Swansea City wishes Tarrelle every success in his loan spell. | |

Looks like that is the way forward with the current owners, hopefully the manager will not hang them out to dry when they make a mistake.

Some on here aren’t going to confident of getting 16 points from the 18 games left though!, I guess it depends on how we get on with trying to get into the playoffs, there’s no way anyone would support playing a rookie in crucial games

Think we have no chance of the play offs Gixer. See those in there currently with maybe Luton or Watford being replaced by Norwich.

Big IF we win today we’ll only be 3 points behind the team currently in 3rd so very much in he mix points wise. The difference is obviously the other teams in the mix have strengthened so my point being if we’re there or there abouts we shouldn’t scupper that by fielding inexperience. For the record, I don’t think we deserve a place in the top 6 based on the season so far

A bit unfair as there is no evidence he wanted out. Presumably ha has a good group of mates at Swansea. When I was at college going home to the folks was the last thing I wanted, I have seem him play a handful of time and he resembles Nathan Dyer. He does not have Nathan explosive pace and he was both sharp and careless in equal measure. At one game I was hoping the Swansea players would not pass to him as he would turn over the ball too easily. Swansea had several 3 on 2's and he messed up every one. No reason why this cannot develop and he can still have a good career.

Most misfire, when maybe we should not try to be too clever and focus all the money and the energy on our first team winning games. Grimes is a good example of buying for the future, and Fulton ….. but there are 20 Kenji Gorres and Garricks for each success. Although both then routed via our Academy. Personally, given the outstanding Oli Cooper yesterday, i would not try to do anything much outside of the Academy and first team. Trying to be far too clever for me. Agents like it though.
