Yet a majority of people who voted on the poll on here are happy with the job the owners are doing. How happy will they be when those two leave, are not adequately replaced and we face a season of discontent and possible relegation, which ( assuming Martin gets the push as quite a few on here seem to want) will be under a new manager or managers ? Worrying times ahead

Every season we are getting relegated the following season according to a few on here. They will get it right one day. Which owners brought in the likes of Manning,Piroe,Lati, Darling,Wood etc. 18k a week for Manning is crazy we need to look elsewhere because that is extortionate. [Post edited 14 Feb 2023 15:26]

I really hope we don't. Just angry at the thought of losing Piroe and Manning. Judging by the January window, do you honestly feel these owners are going to spend enough to get good replacements ? Renewed my ST in the hope that we have a good Championship season. Spent enough years watching Swans in the lower two divisions since the early '70's, so definitely do not want a return to that. I hope Martin can turn it around over the next 16 games and the owners back him in the summer. I just do not feel confident they will

Need to be some soft soap discussion's with Manning and his agent, longer contract and 12-14 instead of 18k a week etc.

Neither am I we can score goals and play nice football sometimes. But with our defence we will need the Liverpool front 5 to win games. I would give him the rest of the season but if there is not a big improvement he needs to go in the summer.

Now he's suddenly worth nearly £1m a year from a club that doesn't have huge amounts of cash to begin with. No thanks. Either he agrees terms more suitable or we'll have to find someone else to slam every cross into the first man.

First time I've mentioned relegation since the PL days, it might not happen this season but unless the tightwads speculate even slightly next season we will be at the bottom end fighting relegation. Btw I've been back home for a few days, was going to nip to the stadium shop to buy a few things for the eldest but it was shut, only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, wtf did they stop opening other weekdays? Sign of costcutting eh 🙄

Yes agree he did the same to Rotherham or was it QPR either way no thanks we need a few players and cant afford that. It's not just the wage either will be looking for a big signing on fee. 18k a week for a slightly above average full back is nuts. [Post edited 14 Feb 2023 18:45]

Wait about 8 weeks and they’ll have a huge sale of unsold stock, tell your son he can have a few extra bits and I’m sure he’ll be happy.
