He is knocking in the goals for his club and country and got two more yesterday in a 4-2 win over Scotland, his name is Iwan Morgan and his opening goal for his country last night was something to behold. If you haven’t heard of this young man until now, then you most certainly will,do from here on in. 0

I watched most of the game online and the possession play and soft touch of the midfield was very encouraging. A level above the Scots.

Morgan and Bianchieri were class as were the centre backs and Captain Crew. Both Plymouth forwards have featured in their first team. Margetson had slip up for both goals sadly but will learn,

Very little if he chooses to move to another academy.

Yes, of course, I’d forgotten about that rule. Let’s hope we can convince him to stay here though sometimes the draw if a larger club maybe too much (but usually foolish).

Cardiff have lost 3 or 4. Matondo and three kids recently.

Swansea have not lost any as far as I know. Hedges was released. Norrington Davies was not poached as far as i know.

Hedges was sold for a fee. Norrington-Davies was released and went back to school for a year before another academy picked him up. Emyr Huws is the only big prospect that springs to mind as having been poached from our academy. Both Iwan Morgan and Ben Lloyd left Cardiff's academy to come to us.

Josh Thomas scored for the u21s today against Colombia, no need to push Iwan to the front of the queue just yet.

Yup, why not? Absolutely nothing to lose. And that's how you get ridiculous transfer fees for young players. Just look at clubs from Portugal... getting tens of millions for very average players over the last decade

Name one Swansea prospect that has left over the last 20 years without being released. Jasper could only name one, Emyr Huws who has not pulled up too many trees due to injury.

Norrington Davies the best of the released players.

Morgans goals covered for Margetson's slip ups if I am being a little harsh on the young keeper.

I haven't seen loads of him but imo he's not even the best Welsh keeper his age at Swansea. Ewan Griffiths was the Victory Shield keeper with this age group but seems to have fallen out of favour recently.

My point would stand even if there were no examples. Let’s hope he stays if he has the potential some say he has.
