Swansea City masterclass at Carrow Road embarrasses Norwich City 23rd Apr 2023 08:00
There was very little for the Swans to worry about throughout the entire game at Carrow Road yesterday afternoon which ended in a 3-0 win for Russell Martin’s rejuvenated team. That’s six wins in seven for Swansea City and results this weekend have given them a glimmer of hope of a play off place. 0

As you pointed out,we seemed to simply ease up and stop the humiliation .
We have eased up before
We needed goals yesterday, lots of them and seemed to declare.
It’s a coaching thing
When opponent on the ropes, put the boot in
GD might be crucial

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

On the other hand, how many times this season has Russ had pelters for not managing the game properly ?
Had we gone chasing more goals and let one or more in, what then ?
Seems he can't win

He s had plenty of justified pellets
Yesterday was as it should have been months ago .
Even Whittaker coming on with enough time to shows what he could do.
Moving forward was tremendous and +on trashed with he absolute dribbling sideways sweetie we ve had to endure for too long.
That said, we eased up ,,,,again.. Norwich were appalling and deserved to be executed out of sight. They weren’t .We neede£ more goals but again ,for a good 15 mins ,we simply kept the ball and passed it sideways.

We could have been a real force this season and I’m afraid the capitulations ,the weakness, the appalling Fisherisms and bizarre substitutions have seen us unfulfilled. And that is exactly what we have been …unfulfilled.

The Martin supporters are incredible . I doubt they supported the likes of Paulo Sousa as much .

Difference is we went from RM Swansealona to Souza Snoozalona
This time we have gone from Cooperball borefest to (at times) Martinball entertaining
So the upward trend is more preferable than the backward trend under Souza (football wise not position wise of course )

Whittaker again didn’t match up for me.

Looking back or moving forwards ?

I think it’s Swansea supporters, being a fan of a man in this case is a bit weird.

Masterclass was the word describing us by Radio Wales yesterday.
Listened to it on the radio and had Gillette Soccer Saturday on at the same time.
Nathan Dyer's brother was covering our game. He was absolutely drooling over our performance. There are some clips on Twitter showing this - unfortunately I don't know how to add them on here.

Swansea did not ease up yesterday at all. Norwich came out in second half and just parked the bus to prevent us scoring a lot more goals. In the first half most of our good attacks were when counter attacking quickly and caught out the Norwich defence.

Norwich did not even bother to try and attack in the second half they just defended and closed down all the space in their half. Even then we did create 3 or 4 decent chances and scored from one of them.

We managed the game and did not sit back deep trying to defend a two goal league as we have done in the past.

Poll: Sholud Wales rollout vaccination at full speed.
