I think there is dead wood at the club. But dead wood we can make some serious cash from and reinvest. I see Grimes and Fulton as in that bracket, albeit their contribution has been excellent. But time and players needs to move on. | |

If, as reported, Grimes is on nearly £1m a year then that's an obvious place to start freeing up funds if Martin wants to come back for him.
I almost hope it's not true as the incompetence of negotiation required to give a player lacking any other serious options at the time a payrise of that magnitude would be substantial. |  |

If there is money to be made and we 're not weakened because of selling the likes of the two mentioned then yes I agree , I do think Grimes has been too rigid ( under instructions) whilst Martin was here and he is a good player but as you say sometimes you need to dispense some players to improve the squad | |
