a) Deliberately misleading the House
b) Deliberately misleading the Committee
c) Breaching confidence
d) Impugning the Committee and thereby undermining the democratic process of the House
e) Being complicit in the campaign of abuse and attempted intimidation of the Committee.

Between the Brexit vote and Johnson being elected the Tory party lost many of it's Europhiles and many of it's moderates. I've said before I've voted Tory (on one occasion) but this latest lot are like none who've gone before them.
Johnson got in as a populist, promising to get Brexit done with no heed to how complex a thing it was/is.
People voted for him in droves and the party morphed with minsters and MPs in his own image - bluster and no substance. The Emperor's new clothes.
Now we can see that the price for getting Brexit done was letting the fox into the henhouse and now look where we are.
Having said that Brexit was the will of the people and that democratic choice should be respected. I just hope it's going to be handed to the grown ups who'll do a better job. | | | |
