There have been some pretty lengthy discussions surrounding the twenty one year old who has scored one goal for his club in forty seven appearances. 0 Second time lucky, click above.

More of a traditional left back / centre back left.

So that will be that void taken care of.

Abdulai played well on the left going forward against Northampton and defensively on the ground looked comfortable and used his pace well, in the air he looked all at sea but maybe needed to calm down a bit, trying too hard without realising he had time to bring balls down. Takes time to fit in during a step up to the first team. Glad when the left side has some natural left footers to strengthen.

Let's put a bit of trust in Watson here, you can't always go on reports, with Humphreys coming in that's 2 left sided players. Exactly what we need

Abdulai's approach play on the left is good but he has to check to get the final ball off with his right foot. (He did OK crossing with his left against Bristol so maybe a confidence thing.) Play the kid on the right where he belongs and is more effective. What puzzles me about Tjoe-A-On is that, at a 190 cms, a listed weakness is aerial battles! Duff will work on his aerial weakness.

Hopefully a lot of youngster willing to work on their weaknesses while making a better squad with their strengths.

Don't think he is coming in as the main LWB. Think he is being brought in as a squad filler with the aim to nurturing him as it goes, it does make you wonder with him and Humphreys coming in if we could be seeing one of the current 3 centre halves leave along with Cooper. I think they want to get this LWB nailed and think it will be a permanent.

I know that’s not a great thing to go by, but it still doesn’t fill me with any form of confidence. I do rate Watson highly, but we are so desperate for LWBs, I think we are forcing the matter in that position, as it’s obviously difficult to get what we need. I don’t think Humphreys is a WB, but a CB. We will still need another WB IMO, as Duff really wants left footers on that side of the pitch

Quite possibly as it is 3 years with an option on the 4th. Saturday is in the future though.

He's 21 and played 29 games in the Dutch top league last season. So I would expect him to slot straight in at left back
