Wood is far from the finished article but he does have potential. A lot of it IMO. Certainly he seems the most comfortable on the ball of all our defenders. Any team buying him would be doing so in the hope that potential realises itself fully.
Whether Martin has the coaching chops to improve him based on our hopeless defending for almost all of his time here remains to be seen. |  |
