It’s a pretty poor comparison, Thompson was out of his depth at a far lower level and had literally no cash or idea whatsoever.

The US people have invested more hard cash in Swansea city than any other owners in history and it is not even close. The clubs problem has alway been recruitment. Trading players is OK as long as in their time :-

McBurnie replaced Abraham

Ayew replaced McBurnie

One could say much of the money they have invested has been wasted by poor club management. We are in a far worse position now than when they came to the club.

There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest they have invested their own hard cash. It’s all hidden behind a yank shell. It’s all loans and conversions at the front end, there’s a good chance it’s all investment money I.e. not their own at the back end. Do you know how these people e.g. hedge funds work?
