| Brandon Cooper returns to Swansea City with an awful disciplinary record on 15:32 - Jan 11 with 2197 views | ReslovenSwan1 | He is not going to make the grade as a defender at Swansea if teams like Orient do not want him. He is a good footballer strong and able. I would give him a run out in the u21 as a square jaw number 9 and see how he does back to goal instead of facing the other way. I recall Paul Warhurst doing this back in the day and being a surprise revelation. Squared jawed Welsh John Harston type centre forwards are as rare as rocking horse teeth. No cash? Improvise and think outside the box. [Post edited 11 Jan 2024 15:34]

Next you be suggesting Darling as a centreforward oh hang on a minute he has been put there at the tail end of games we have had to chase. Might be worth Brandon given a go but were we just loaning him out to see his contract out

He wasn’t enjoying his time there. Hopefully both will find new loans this month.

Josh hasn't had any minutes for Port Vale since 28/10/2023 after getting injured on International duty in November.

He went there with no senior experience. He now knows what it is about and has had 6 months in the lower leagues with 15 games and 3 goals on his CV. I reckon he and Cooper can do a job for Newport County for the rest of the season. Both are grafters.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

It is all about the "narrative". With a narrative journalists can develop a fake reality and if it is credible and backed up by prejudices it can catch fire and live a life of its own. This one did not last long. Forums are particularly good vehicles for this sort of thing. One narrative for example is that US citizens working for Swansea are not actually working hard. When one leaves it becomes "one less Yankee mouth to feed".

The narrative of the thread was fake with the inference that Orient were displeased with the player and sent him back early. I too was surprised at this but took it a face value. In reality Orient did not want him to go on loan anywhere else and agreed to pay a fee to Swansea. The inference was not correct and I gave another example of a dubious narrative for the forum readership while respecting the forum itself. Fans complaining about sales must understand that player must go if new ones come in. There must also squad places for players like Parker who was in the u18 squad earlier in the season.

Surprised that he is 24 - I thought he did ok when thrown in the deep end by RM early in his tenure. Didn’t really look out of place in the games that I saw - physically not as big as Cabango & Wood but just as good as them on the ball. Good luck to the lad, think he’ll do ok

The narrative of the thread came from the report. The report was about Brandon’s poor disciplinary record. And the views of Orient Supporters, plus the fact he had returned to Swansea.
