There are prospects in the Premier league academies to be picked up cheaply for around the £1.5m-£2m mark. The Premier leagues teams can only name a squad of 20 or so, so have to leave out most of their prospects. There are many players who are slow burners.
Swansea's own Ollie Cooper and Liam Cullen are still improving at 24. No one care about Ben Woodburn anymore. Cotterill, Congreve might also be like this?
A better manager for Swansea than Steve Cooper would have seen the potential of Gyorkeres for example. Patino is even more highly rated the Viktor.
