Centre back must be the first priority surely to replace Darling/Naughton (assuming Darling is leaving). We may be short of quality up front, but not numbers, Yates, Cullen, Vipotink, Wales & Kukharevych are still on the books, so can't see us bringing in another unless 1 or 2 of those go first. CB we're lacking and need to sort first and last.

No idea of a fee, but Plymouth fans think he could be going there, but they don't have a manager at the moment

Sounds like he's a potential Grimes/Allen type defensive midfielder although likes to travel with the ball a bit more and looks to get the ball forward by all accounts. With a name 'the Aligaror' because he can't keep his mouth shut there seems there may be some disciplinary issues there, although some players need that 'edge' to make them tick. Reading that article doesn't fill me with huge confidence I must admit, although he could be the anchor in midfield to allow Widdel and Franco to get much further forward if playing a 3 in midfield. Either that or he's a possible Fulton replacement, possibly used sparingly but to come on and see some games out.

Genuinely believe a few signings coming in are to strengthen positions that we already have or to compliment signings to come.

| Lincoln midfielder close to signing. on 12:55 - Jun 4 with 2833 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Swansea had become slow and leaden footed easily bypassed by sharp PL players and top Championship. Fulton is a wrecking ball of a player and I typified the degradation of the ball playing style of Swansea more than anyone else. He is strong but slow of mind and action. Franco is a completely different beast. Him and this fellow could form a fearsome engine room and sharpen and energise transitions.Another runner like Abdullai but stronger perhaps . Martin Williams dispatched all the runners like Lowe Obafemi Whittaker. Their philosophy was static players passing to each other but generally failing to put players in spsce. | |

This is exactly what we need. Sort out the Darling/Darling replacement situation and bring in a centre forward and we’d have a very competitive starting eleven. There’s a huge drop in quality behind that though. Very little strength in depth, particularly at the back. People shouldn’t be disappointed when we bring in squad players, we’re desperate for them (apart from up front where he have a load of backups and no real first choice).

Whittaker was one of the laziest players I’ve ever seen. Connor Hourihane was worse. I agree with the general gist of your point though. You can’t play passing or possession football without the movement. Fulton, as much as I think he’s underrated, has never had that.

Still work to do if it is too happen. With two issues one in one out they become self f dependent. e g Fulton does not want to go..
