Are Sperm Whales the reason the sea is so salty?
Poll: Bony - Would You Want Him Back?

Massive blow if true. I thought he travelled to Sheffield and a decision on his fitness was delayed. When did Matos tell the BBC he was out.

Made a call, def true. Out until June by all accounts.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Time for Parker ease him in. Reminiscent of Ben Davies.

Assuming we get compensation from N.I. it could be a blessing in disguise. Nothing to play for this season, if he has both feet on the beach while the others have just the one, then so be it. He'll be well rested and raring to go next season. As injuries go, it's perfect timing. He won't miss a single, meaningful game.

Agreed. Send him off for a good long holiday if he is a sensible sort of fellow as he seems from the outside . Hopefully not Ibiza or similar..

I have noticed Matos only volunteers injury information is pressed. In press conference s the interviewer asks for news on the injury front and he does not volunteer a list. He mentioned he was facing a scan.

One interesting angle is that Northern Ireland played him too much and their manager is the manager of a Championship rival Blackburn. If Swansea were in the relegation mix it might have become more of an issue. O'Neil seems far to decent a citizen to deliberately overplay a Swansea player to benefit his own club .

Matos was very coy about EG
He knew he was buggered

I have never seen him as downbeat as he was in the pre match presser.

He was concerned about readiness I expect. Eom, Burgess Stameric and Vigoreaux probably only got back on Thursday. Straight onto the bus after a quick fitness check.

EG will be in treatment probably daily and that will include heavily supervised grass work to make sure his calf heals properly. There’ll be no early holiday.

Yes you are probably right. However some of these strain injuries just need rest from my own very low level athletic experience..
