I watched him earlier talk about declaring the Strait of Hormuz an American territory. Complete and utter stupidity as we've come to expect from the clown.
Then I looked at the crowd behind him who all applauded and cheered and obviously agreed this idiocy was a great idea, else why applaud. And I thought are all MAGA people just morons ?
And then I thought, I wonder what he's thinking. Even he must know that what he's saying is just simply stupid, that he's just making up stupid stuff as he bumbles along. And then he hears the crowd cheering.
Does he not wonder the same as I do ? That they're all just idiots ? That I can say whatever I like and they'll still love me ?
All rhetorical questions really. When there's no logic or common sense in any of it how can anyone come up with a sensible answer.

I agree with you that the big winner in all this US madness is China. I’ve said before, with the current direction the US is not a reliable ally. This is what happens with ultra nationalism.

It's only a negotiating tool if it's something you can actually do and then commit to for the long term.
It would require them to send a large number of aircraft carriers/frigates etc etc plus a huge number of ground based planes plus probably 10,000 or more troops to do it. And they would need to be there forever. Literally. Because if they pulled out Iran would just do it all again. And the American public would not put up with the billions of dollars it would cost each and every week.
