| Best Swansea team since?? on 11:36 - Oct 5 with 777 views | JACKMANANDBOY | Too early to tell. What's different this year is that we have 17 or 18 outfield players of a good standard who are almost all good on the ball. I'd like to think we will be improved in a couple of months time as we have a number of recent signings. | |

Far to early to tell for me also. We have a stronger squad than last year so can make good changes from the bench. But is our starting 11 so much better and I'm yet to see us cut through a team who sets out to nullify us.

That EPL team up until 2015 ish had an English, Spanish, numerous Dutch, Welsh, Iceland, Polish, Argentinian, Swedish, Ecuador, internationals and a variety of English players like Leon Britton who beat Messi’s passing stats, Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge all of whom had they been playing for an English club would have gained international caps. Those caps are off the top of my head, there could well be more. They ripped Europe a new one until Napoli most certainly dabbled with the referee in the Europa League. This side has impressed over 8 games not three seasons. The current lot are potentially better than the side that got promoted via the play offs, but we had a few old school players then who knew the league who had come up through the Swansea league promotions looking to resurrect their careers, Tate, Monk, Britton, plus smart signings. Scott Sinclair, Bony, Darren Pratley, Stephen Dobbie to name a few.

I have to say that the interplay down our left for Idah’s goal at Stoke was as good as anything I’ve seen from any Swansea side. If we can continue in that vein not many teams will live with us this season. Consistency is key and we have been wonderfully consistent in our first 8 games.

We seem to have a much stronger squad this year, we can make five subs and it has often strengthened us, not weakened us like in previous years but as others have said it’s very early days.
