Coincidentally, I had to phone them for my mother earlier. Took about 30 minutes to find a person and even then I'm not convinced it wasn't the cleaner who picked up the phone. Her phone's working though so I must have done something right.

I think I spoke to the same cleaner. Coincidentally they tell me that there is a clear fault on my line which will stop the broadband working. Which is interesting as this computer is connected to it.

They beat such stalwart winners as HMRC, Ryan Air, NPower and TalkTalk. Organisations that try to win such accolades year after year.

I had cause to contact BT a couple of years ago when I had a BB problem. The best way to get anything done is join the BT user forums. I quickly got in touch with a BT tech bod who sorted me out in no time. Was pulling my hair out speaking to Bangalore - waste of time. |  |

Tried to bill us £160 for disconnecting 1 cable they said was causing a fault in the house. The 'engineer' doing this had the cheek to fish for carpentry work for his recently qualified son on some buildings we were doing up. Don't think he realised the way things work.

They're a complete shower of sh1te. I had them 'providing' tv, bb and phone line a few years back. I spent on average 3 hours a week speaking on the phone to them over a 10 month period reference various problems. They really don't know their @rses from their elbows. In the end I cancelled my dd and refused to pay them a penny more. Then the serious letters started appearing and they were trying to get just under £400 out of me, I replied to them once the bill was reduced to £107!
They really are the most incompetent group I've had the misfortune to deal with. |  |
