I would have him here but not for that deal. Think we should keep Shelvey and get Townsend. Only 23 and has lots of potential but it's just not working out at totenham. Sounds like our type of player. If we sign him though we will have to sell a winger or 2. We would have too many in that position.

I am grateful for Leon's contribution as much as any fan, but IMO he won't be competing for a regular midfield slot in the future at Swans.

I'd love him here but I don't think Townsend would fancy it.I doubt Spurs want rid just can't guarantee him regular football and Townsend does well in an England shirt so I'd be surprised if he didn't go to Liverpool or Everton or if he wanted to stay in London then someone like West Ham.
