I went with two Tums namely Chadli and Clucas which seem to be near.
Add Bony as a third (sell Llorente by the way) would make this bordering on a decent window. However I think that's a lot to do in the remaining 10 days or so.
I don't know enough about Arias to make the call on the 4th. Is he really any better than what we've got today? Huw would have to be working overtime to get four over the line.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not voting, but the optimist side of would be tempted to choose 3, while that other side thinks 2 is more likely.
I'd personally set the over/under at 2.5. As great as all 4 would be, the price tag for that is probably about £60-65m if we're lucky, not even thinking about the wages. But only 1 would be a disaster, no matter who it is, unless a couple new and solid targets fall out of a tree in the next week.
Disagree that Bony in means Llorente out, though. Call me crazy, but I believe Clement's words from last week addressing that, including the indication that the man himself prefers playing for Swansea over sitting on anyone's bench at this stage of his career. Bony needs to be meant partly as insurance for Llorente's fitness, because we need at least one of those 2 guys available and in form all season. Ayew and Abraham together up front isn't going to work.
I wouldn't be surprised if Arias, Clucas and Bony are our signings... would be a great window if we signed all 4 though I think.. just imagine how much better our subs bench would look like if we signed them.. whether they become first 11 or not... that would still be a strong overall team.

At the moment Llorente is a far better player than Bony, the club are taking a big risk that they can return him to his previous playing & scoring form.

Arias is a lot better than what we have.

I went for 1. Not sure which one though - maybe Clucas? I just see this window being the mother of all cock ups!! No way the board are organised/willing to go & get all 4.
Bony on loan would be an option, but to spend money on him appears one hell of a gamble, and £10 mill + seems completely bonkers. Still easy come - easy go.

That's the market. We have to face the reality that Llorente may be the last time in this club's history (at least as long as we're in the PL) that we find an effective striker for 5 mill.
The problem with Bony on loan is that it leaves us losing him, Abraham, and Llorente (assuming he doesn't sign an extension, but I hope he will) all at the same time in May.

I seem to remember the old days when the full new squad was ready for day 1 of pre-season training in July.
Seems hard to bring in 4 new players with 2 games gone. I know its about money, agents, and windows.
I still dont like it. We knew that Gylfi was offski so should we have done all this business earlier ?
We need all 4.
What if Everton changes there mind and found better value elsewhere. Don't know about you but if I was buying a new house would want to sell the one I lived in first.

Aye, but when you are in the final straight of negotiations to sell a bit of window shopping for a replacement wouldn't go amiss.

Plus if we'd spent a bunch of money before we sold Siggy, that would've only given more leverage to the Toffees who'd known we had to accept whatever they offer.

We're now in a position where every other team we try to buy from knows we have to buy so ups the price.
A happy medium could surely be found. Perhaps it has and the deals are all lined up ready to go though.
