They haven't woken up for the past 3-4 seasons so not sure why they would now. Tough times ahead.

They see it but they just don't care, the football club was ruined the moment they sold it to the hedge fund yanks.

They shouldn't need a wake up call. It's painfully obvious how thin our squad is. If they need a loss to Bristol City to see that then they're not fit to run a football club.

I think they are awake and know what they are doing and spending money on strengthening the squad is not a high priority for them it would seem. They are hoping to get away with doing things on a shoe string.

Sadly that seems to be how it looks.

Isn't that exactly what they did at DC United?
We were warned.

It's one step forward and two back atm ,plus it comes to something when we have to rely on Leroy to change the game

Powder puff performance and has already highlighted highlights how limited on options and weak our squad truly is, sadly!

They won’t. There’ll be more loans out than in next week. Their agenda has been clear for some time. Our midfield was overrun today until Fer came on. Grimes on for Carrol and no CF for Ollie when 1-0 down make it clear how week the squad is . Shame as GP seems decent .

Not sure how much we can blame today on squad depth. Look at Leeds, they've played almost the same starting 11 in all 5 games so far, plus they had a cup game where we had a bye.

Most teams in the league aren't at a stage where they're having to rotate yet.

Squad depth means no Fer and midfield struggle.

Most clubs have more than 1 senior centre half, 1 defensive midfielder and 1 fit striker.

We now have 3 centrebacks, which is 3 more than Leeds have fit.

We massively suffered by not being able to replace Fer’s quality in midfield and had no alternative striker option to McBurnie.

People have been saying all summer we needed another centre midfielder and striker and here we are.

In my opinion, the club was ruined once we were out of Europe, eyes turned from the pitch to "greener" pastures.

You need squad depth especially when one of the better players against Leeds in Fer is only back from major injury and can't play more than one game a week and not even a full 90 in some cases. Montero who when picked looks very good at this level but I can only assume isn't playing every game due to his past injury record and reports have it that Mcburnie has been playing for weeks with an injury. We need depth at the moment. Also the likes of celina, fulton, McKay have looked great but at times it hasn't worked them for what ever reason, sometimes you need to be able to take player off when there not playing well or not fully fit and have someone decent to come off the bench, like what happened when fer and Montero came on we looked better, problem is when they are fit they will be in the team.
Hopefully when Bony is back and fit we can keep him and that might help but we do need some extra bodies to help support the team and Potter who has been doing a good job with what he has.

We’ve got McBurnie apparently carrying an injury and an unfit Fer being seen as the talisman. When Carroll is struggling with the physicality, we can only replace him with Grimes. I can only assume Dyer to Reading is happening, because there’s no way Assoro keeps him out of the team, must be something in the pipeline with Narsingh as well.

To be fair, this group of players and the management team have done remarkably well up to today. Let’s hope most of them get a rest Tuesday and we get a passionate performance at Milwall, like the first four were.

There are idk maybe 5 players I'd rather see in the side than Asoro, and playing two out and out attacking wingers is forcing our better goalscorers (Ollie and Celina) deeper.

He's Potter's pet project, his continued selection has little to do with the quality in the squad imo.

Leeds haven’t got shot of 16 players, another 4/5 on their way out so not considered and another 3/4 injured . If you don’t think today was about squad depth then maybe football is not your game.

Wtf?

How fvcking stupid do you think we are

I watched our powder puff midfield and strike force produce absolutely nothing today because they are playing EVERY FVCKING game because we DONT have strength in depth

FFS we had CARROLL AND FULTON in centre midfield and poor oli up front on his jack AGAIN because we DONT have another striker to share the workload

Wake the fvck up and smell the bullsh!t will you jasper unless you are a sellout apologist
