On the BBC Wales news. Dali 'teflon' Davies terminally ill with pancreatic cancer. Currently a patient in a hospice in North Wales. Sad news.

Dali?! Sorry, dyslexic fingers.

Very sad to hear of this. The first Swans keeper I ever saw. Great keeper for Swans and Wales.

A bit disrespectful to be using the name 'Teflon' on a thread like this.

I'm sure the OP meant no disrespect.

The OP meant no disrespect, that was how he was known by Supporters at the time. In fact I had the greatest respect for him. He was a fine goalkeeper.

Very saddened to read this. 😩

A favourite of mine and certainly played his part in our fabulous best ever season. A real character and good man.

Sending the love YJB

That's fair enough, mate.

I should have realised that no disrespect was meant.

I hope Dai is as comfortable as possible now. He was the first Swans keeper I ever saw. As a six year old I idolised every Swans player at that time. I still enjoy the clips of him standing up to those Liverpool players who thought that they could bully him in front of The Kop.

All the best, Dai.

Very sad news.

Too young to remember him as a player but have met him a couple of times, lovely bloke, lovely family.

Yes I was at that game at Anfield along with around 10,000 other Swans fans. A great occasion, it was during the week that Bill Shankly died. And I think Liverpool were league Champions.

Swans 2-0 up only to concede two pens at Kop end. And Dai as always stood up
to everyone and everything. A great character and a Welsh football legend. 👏
