- Joel Gold argued he used phrase to describe the man's importance to their work
- But he was dismissed after others 'winced' at the offensiveness of the comment
- Veteran officer has now successfully sued the Home Office for unfair dismissal

Oh thats nice, we have to pay him out too

I’m guessing it’s going to be “king of the castle” this year, which has its own problems as some miserable twits somewhere (twitter) will whinge, moan and complain that castles are a symbol of imperial subjugation and oppression and therefore should be bulldozed at dawn.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Well, yes, they were built all over Wales precisely to subjugate the Welsh.

I wouldn't want them knocked down, of course.

Carreg Cenen's a nice place to be on a sunny winters day.

Odd, thought the "King of the Jungle" was Tarzan, a white Englishman.

Great sprawling folly you can see from the A55 en route to Llandudno, Ynys Mon or the Lleyn for us.

At least Cardiff was a Roman Fort and Norman Castle-though as you say mostly a confection of William Burgess and the Marquis of Bute. Same with Castell Coch-where I got married.

He was royalty too, Viscount Greystoke.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Viscount's aren't necessarily "Royal", its just a lowish title

Well it's a Royal title handedout by the monarchy and we're supposed to call them Lord or Lady...sounds like Royalty to me.
