Things going well for Brandon at Newport. Flynn did have Ben White on loan for a season a couple of seasons ago. All the indications that he will be ready for Championship football at least to replace Guehi 2021-2022.
I hope he makes it, but I was not very impressed with his penalty miss when they lost in the cup, it was shocking and I thought somebody like that won't make it in football because the penalty was so bad, I thought to myself is that guy a professional player.... really. But anyway he is young so let's hope he gets to the top for both Swansea and Wales.

No just the penalty, it was shocking, I would have retired on the spot if I had done that, I would be ashamed if I was not able to take a better pen at any age between 10 and 80 than that, it's like he did not know how to address the ball, how to judge a run of a few steps and kick the ball and how to strike a ball, I seen it and thought blydi hell and he's a football player.

It was one penalty kick - his first in senior football after playing 90mins with the added pressure of a potential giant killing. And he's a centre back.
He was great in the game, one goal saving tackle was particularly eye catching. Thought he did well in that league cup game v Palace few years ago.

He conceiveibly could have been suffering from cramp or similar at the end of the game. Swansea loan players rarely establish themselves so quickly. Roberts at Yoevil was one(player of the season). Tyler Reid was not good enough to get in Flynn's team.

Yup, that’s what I thought too.
There may be some form of option. Ther is no record of promising Swansea players walking in such circumstances. It happened with McBurney, Byers, Fulton and others.
Not unusual at all for us to have young players go into their last year. Only the fans panic. Roberts and Rodon where in the same boat two years ago. Connor didn't sign his extension until the end of November. With the u23s we haven't often renewed deals before the end of the season, even.
If Cooper decides he wants him no doubt a deal will be done in due course.

A few on here thought very highly of him. One of those that came in from elsewhere and pushed some talented local lads either out of position (Aaron Lewis) or out of the team.
His brother was nothing special, either.

Dolan pulled out before kickoff today, would be a big miss for them if it's a serious problem he's got.
Mark of champions is to scrape through the odd tough day, if you're inching over the line every week it's a different story. Played most of today against 10 men and made tough work of it. Need to start playing well and winning again soon.
