9.Emerson Lake and Palmer.Opening chords on Barbarian made me take up piano again.
10.Ommadawn. Criminality underated and truly evocative.Dont listen to it alone.
11.How Dare You 10cc and not because of the red Austin Healey on the cover
12New World Record.Perfect pop album
13Band on the Run.Maccas best .
14.Sweet Baby James. Arguably the greatest song writer of all.Brilliant acoustic work
15Tea for the Tillerman. For me Cat Stevens wrote true standards
16.Rumours. Obviously great songs and performances never beaten
17.Bat out of Hell.Big personal memories of this for wifey and me .
18.Bop Till you Drop.Ry Cooder.The guv's most commercial effort.Never dates
19.Joshua Tree.U2.Yeah I know.Bono-but he could do it though and well.
20 Automatic for the People.REM. This will play for all time and give pleasure.

This lot off the top of my head and I d probably change my list tomorrow.

I would say music stamps your timezeist more than anything else. Most of that list has pleasant memories for me but a few open up dark corners.
16 Nebraska. Springsteen.Stark and basic. You can feel the emotion he tried to evoke

Mine ,some of which duplicate, not in any order other than how my memory recalls them
Beatles-Let It Be
Door LA Women
Santana Abraxas smooth
Roxy Music Avalon mr Cool
Police, Ghost in the Machine, in fact all of them
Early Sting solo work Ten Summoners Tale
Elton John Good bye to yellow Brick road
.Pet Sounds- obviously
Wish you were Here. as above
Neil Young. Harvest , After the Gold Rush
Genesis Live , before Gabriel left and they were "famous "
Peter Frampton Live . It seems to be played everywhere and probably was
Stevie Wonder Songs in the Key of Life , some excellent tracks and no duffers
Queen Night at the Opera. Always like Queen
Ommadawn.Tuberlar Bells and Hergest Ridge, still played today when I feel the urge to reminisce back to happier times.By chance I watched a documentary on You Tube last night about how the TB was created , a very troubled man Mr Oldfield ,and Branson was a knob then as is today.
How Dare You 10cc , they played down the Grand Theatre a great night out
New World Record.Very underrated , my son bought me a vinyl recently they're greatest hits , a quick pick me up
Sweet Baby James. Arguably the greatest song writer of all.Brilliant acoustic work, agree
Tea for the Tillerman. For me Cat Stevens wrote true standards Agree i Just wish he kept his religious views to himself
Rumours. Obviously great songs and performances never beaten. I like the Mac of Pete Greens era , me and the misses went to see them last year at Wembley , disappointed by the sound quality and the fact that they were were one end of the stadium and us the other , The Pretenders as supporting act were much better ,
I do enjoy listening to the really early stuff when Pete Green held sway
Joshua Tree.U2.Yeah I know.Bono-and pertencius knob at times but musically what can you say yes
Automatic for the People.REM. One of my all time favourites and band that broke up far too soon
This list could go on and on and I have work to do

As do most my musical tastes have evolved through the passing years , I'm not one for turning my nose up at the pure musical delight of listening to big bands , orchestras, solos singers etc The fact that music from whatever era is till being played and enjoyed by the masses is wonderous . My kids were brought up as individuals but I'm always surprised as to how much my musical tastes have influenced them and now their kids.Music is great leveller in so many ways

Alternative TV?

Strangely enough, one of my best mates in school became the bass player in that band.

I can remember buying a couple of their singles, "How Much Longer", "You Basta*d".

God, I was bloody young back then
