SWANSEA City are interested in signing Swindon Town right-back Kieron Freeman on a permanent deal, according to BBC Sport Wales.
The 28-year-old only signed a short-term deal at the County Ground on January 7 but could already be on his way out of SN1 if the Swans ramp up their interest before the 11pm deadline.
Freeman has played just twice since arriving due to requiring time to build up his fitness following a spell of over six months without a club.
The one-cap Wales international was released by Sheffield United last summer and was eagerly looking for a route back into football when John Sheridan called to offer a deal until the end of the current season. |  |

All contract quotes are the end of June this year.
I remember reading an article saying he’d signed a new deal but it hadn’t twigged with me that it was until the summer of this year. Mind you at the moment I struggle to work out which day of the week it is, let alone the date or the month so working out what year we are in is beyond me.
Not read anything about contract extensions so could be a case of watch this space. | | | |
