Not mine! Anyway, it was a good read. I actually didn't know Ostersunds had imploded and the owner was in prison.
I don't blame Potter for moving on either. I used to hate the perceived disloyalty when I was younger but as I aged I got a little bit wiser. Besides, we rarely know all the facts at the time we lodge an opinion. Sport is harsh like that, we gob off about people but later on we often discover mitigating factors.

7 seasons with Östersund! Every season, bar his last when they were also in Europe, an improvement in league position The article was excellent and brought together the events of the last 3 - 4 years at the Swedish club. In addition to the points made and the opportunity to manage in the EFL pyramid, at a club that shared his footballing philosophy at that, part of the reason for Potter and Reid (who I'd been banging on about for a couple of years) was the possibility of the club being axed from the Allsvenskan leaving them unemployed at very short notice.
I’d previously done some homework on Potter. He’s come through some tough times. Showed through hard work and desire that you can succeed. Nothing but admiration for him. And his achievements to date. It’s so easy to take a swipe from distance with little or no understanding.

The above isn't a bad listen either. I wasn't aware all of that happened in Sweden, I suppose as soon as he saw the likes of James etc being banded around for stupid money he had the feeling of once bitten, twice shy and didn't hesitate in jumping ship.
Tough job at Brighton for him at the moment, he's had to change the style of play from a defensive Hughton side, to a more attacking side while keeping them in the league. I think they will have a bright future.

I think it’s like many things in football mate, he needs time there as much as Cooper needs time here, I’m pretty convinced he would have stayed had it not been for Jenkins leaving and the Dan James issue.
I think I've said on here a few times he was standing by a friend of mine at the Phonics gig in Cardiff a few days after he had left. He obviously wouldn't go into detail but he pretty much said we were a basket place club.
To be honest I thought we were too, the Americans with their appointments of Birch and Winter seem to have steadied the ship in fairness.
