Yes I agree. We don't see hordes of white people making a fuss about this because. We don't see black people saying this is wrong either.
Now if Saul was played by Murphy but....choose one.....Harrison Ford say, had blacked up as one of the other customers I'm fairly sure there would have been outrage about Fords role.
It should be the same rule for everyone. Unless we all treat each other the same there will never be equality, never be an end to racism. | |

In recent years we’ve seen massive outcry and actors even removed from roles or forced to resign on the back of a twitter backlash because they are not perceived to be of the right ethnicity to play a character. Or not gay enough. The simpsons have decided that having a white actor voicing a black (dark yellow) character is unacceptable after thirty years of nobody giving a toss but their main male character will still be voiced by a woman. As with everything with the wokery lot their rules are malleable and change to suit whatever mad argument they are pulling out of the ether at any given time.

Being white, specifically being a white male... or even worse a straight, white male is not a privilege. Clearly it was once upon a time, not anymore.
I have never heard any other group of people be told they cannot have an opinion on something due to their color, sexuality or gender as much as the straight, white man in the modern era.
When people talk about ''white privilege''' what they mean is of course ''majority privilege''. Businesses cater to the masses, this is the same in every country. It has nothing to do with skin color and everything to do with business sense.
If I moved to India where the population is overwhelmingly non white, I would certainly not be accusing the people there of ''non white privilege'' if I could only find brown plasters and not some to match my skin tone. I wouldn't be suggesting there should be 50:50 representation in workplaces and wouldn't be expecting an even split in pop culture.
In terms of this specific issue of painting your face a different colour. It's all about intent isn't it. It is historically offensive due to the minstrel show and what they did while in black face paint to show non whites in a bad light.

White people are now clearly targets including white activists who see this as a warped campaign to free themselves from the bonds of the past.
Last night we aw a one hour long "special" on race-aimed at u whiteies by people fully intergrated into our mixed iland -and they are.
John Barnes in full right on mode supporting that Dr who castigated our Royal Family and inplied much that was dubious. Barnes lives in a all white affluent area 10 ins from me and has had 2 white wives. He seems to have done ok in a white society that he sees hates his skin colour.
We are seeing a whole industry fully committed to demonising white people and this will end in more racism a many people ,quietly,are seething but wouldnt say so.
I hope this post is allowed ,a to me,it is important to state that we are now seeking to overcompenate and that is insulting to black people a a whole.
The very worst stigmatising is to infer all black people,as a whole,as poor,under privileged,disenfrancied,disaffected and have poor health . Many are hard working ,intelligent and successful. | |
