Good point, it was justice for the handball by Allen that wasn't given, Naughton had a tug on his shoulder and there was contact on the back of his leg, all be it a slight one.
Only hope now is that Refs won't give the benefit of the doubt more to the defenders. | |

As much as I hate cheating it's very much a case of, if you can't beat them, join them.
Naughton went down far too easy but whatever Stoke's complaints, they would have done it to us and been laughing about it in the dressing room after the game. |  |

If the attacker gets in front of you in the box then the defender these days has to back off. Clark smothered Naughton s running pattern leading to risk of an 'accidentental' klip of one of Naughton legs. Even if the referee cannot see it he can take it as a high possibility. |  |

I'm still in complete awe as to how that hasn't been given as a pen, not even by VAR? He's caught by the keeper (who gets nowhere near the ball) causing him to stumble, go wide and miss a clear goal scoring opportunity.
I don't think Naughton's was a pen, but as plenty of others have said, it's been done to us for years by other sides. I won't be losing any sleep over it. | | | |
