And some of us have been saying it for months. It seems you don't have to be a "proper football person" an ex player or qualified coach to have a clue. Cooper only changed to wing backs last season because it was forced on him and unless another change is forced he'll keep on doing this for the rest of the season and we'll blow a fantastic chance.

I honestly believe that we have at least 1000 jacks who would do a better job than this poor excuse for a coach Me and you no1 and no2 cat, what do you say?

That's different from what i said. It would be more accurate to say we deserved nothing. Rather than Birmingham being particularly deserving. [Post edited 2 Apr 2021 23:21]

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

If they did which I'm not convinced of maybe. That doesn't mean that they'd be neccessarily deserving of winning. Just that they played slightly better. Which they didn't really. Certainly doesn't mean that their manager did anything particularly influence the result. Which was my point all along.

Yea exactly. Neither side did particularly much. Roberts foul for the penalty wasn't one which prevented a clear goalscoring chance for them. And Dhanda slipped accidentally clipping their player's leg. That was the determining factor unfortunately. As a team going for promotion we shouldn't be letting games be decided by such incidents which can occur but aren't costly if you've got more of a goal cushion.

They were better than us because their manager set up a system knew would probably get them on the front foot, which it did, our manager didn't or imo couldnt adapt his team to counteract. Bloody shame really as we know we have a good set of players who would normally wipe the floor with brum but our useless managers incompetence made sure they were better than us.

I disagree, they didn't at all. We didn't see the tell tale signs of that happening ie Woodman kicking into touch much tonight. They were similarly as bland and boring as us,but as i said got that break.

| Bowyer on 00:22 - Apr 3 with 1157 views | LittleEnglandJack | They were better than us 1st half, we shaded the 2nd. But overall it was a dreadful game between two sides that frankly wouldn't look out of place in the National league. I watch a fair bit of Tranmere Rovers because one of my mates supports them and to be completely honest I often think they look a better footballing side than us. Christ, even when I watch Haverfordwest I think they play better football than us. Every coach with more than a couple of brain cells is on to us. We have nobody who looks to beat a man, can't string more than a handful of passes together and couldn't finish a ham Sandwich. We have no outlet, nobody who you can trust to create something from nothing. We are very one dimensional. Literally all you have to do to beat us is press us and we sh*t ourselves and either smash the ball out of play or straight back to you. Sometimes we even skip the middle man and smash the ball straight off you and into our net. It isn't exactly a tactical masterclass from Mr Bowyer is it? We can all see it. | | | |

Did they press us much tonight? Woodman seemed to have an easy pass on to the defenders most of the game and Bennett / Guehi brought the ball out of defence several times with ease but then had zero options no one wanting the ball.

First half they did, hence why they were on top. 2nd half they sat off us a bit and as a consequence I distinctly remember the commentator noting Bowyer screaming at his players to play higher up the pitch. 2nd half there were plenty of occasions Bennett brought the ball out and sprayed it straight to the opposing fullback. He had a poor game in that regard. Guehi was a lot better at driving into the space and trying to pick out a pass to feet.

| Bowyer on 06:27 - Apr 3 with 1027 views | Dr_Winston | Cooper's total lack of game management skills has been a topic of conversation since about October 2019. There's nothing new here. If his Plan A doesn't work, then he's basically just stuck standing on the touchline like a particularly gormless looking garden gnome. He has one way of playing which we lucked into after injuries and Covid forced it on us last season. Since then some resolute defence and, let's face it, a lot of luck has kept us in contention in a piss poor division. | |
