The EU’s coronavirus vaccination programme is “unacceptably slow”, a senior World Health Organisation (WHO) figure has warned.
Hans Kluge, the WHO’s regional director for Europe, said the bloc must ramp up production of jabs and remove barriers to their rollout.

We're a leading light in vaccinations. Not much else.
We've lucked out in backing the right horse in AstraZeneca. Ultimately we need the EU nations (and elsewhere) to get ther acts together otherwise the potential for a mutation that'll put us back to square one remains.
Hopefully though the catastrophic response from the EU will sow more Euroscepticism throughout the continent and we can put and end to the whole thing within a decade or two. |  |

Just as well we are lucky as looking around I see much to be depressed about as many simply seem intent ,even now,of ignoring the dangers of this virus,seeing human rights as being allowed to act a they like no matter the consequences.
