What stands out for me is players underperforming have not had the stick they would have had were people paying to watch.Same applies to managers.

There is a small drop in home advantage. Prior to the pandemic, on average, the proportion of wins, draws and losses for the home team was 45%, 27% and 28% respectively.

There was a clear drop in yellow and red cards for visiting teams and the home teams have had less attempts on goal and overall dominance. If Derby or Weds were as well set as we were playing lowly teams and lost the automatic spots the outcry would be far more intense than on here mainly as they believe they really should be in the Prem many of ours do not and see glorious failure as a success .

 Play-offs and fans returning is definitely on the cards now 3rd May 2021 15:57As we reported last week the play offs are on the brink of being attended by supporters of all clubs this season. This includes Newport as well who will also compete in the league two play offs if they get a point against already relegated Southend on the weekend.  0

Perhaps those two teams would be better off with their home crowd behind them.
