Most people who die with the Delta variant are still the more elderly. The unvaccinated still carry the greatest risk of being seriously ill. Having both doses gives you a 94% chance of not being seriously ill/hospitalised. | |

Still spouting anti vaxers lies. At least the 60 year old who refused the vaccine in February and then became seriously ill with the delta variant thanked the NHS for saving his life . He also said he wished he accepted tyr vaccine when offered and has been a fool.

The ability to travel on a vaccine passport will convince many people to get one and is clearly essential. Mine is downloaded and ready to use. Expect to see queues of people getting vaccines to go to Ibiza later in the summer - followed by headline in Walesonline of some idiot being refused a flight because they had their second dose too late.

If people want to get vaccinated I have no problem with that. All i want is that I am able to exercise same choice.
It's simple really those who are vulnerable and would prefer to feel safe get vaxxed whilst the rest of us get on with our lives.

I went to A Coruna once for a game. It aint the costa del pysehole for sure and the regional language is still spoken.Celts see.
Weather is little better than here but it's more unspoiled although Santiago de Campostela is a tourist spot for pilgrims.
The Ferry is a challenge for kids. It can be a vomit bucket .

Do calm down dear, some of us, when we go on holiday, we prefer not to have to drive and put up with all the idiots on the roads.
I've been to the USA 5 times and I've driven there, their roads seems a lot more sane than ours, despite what they show on tv.
My pefrect holiday would actually be to hire a nice big motor yacht and cruise the Med, stopping off at as many places as possible including North Africa. I'd need about 3 months and a small fortune though.

You are therefore a friend of the virus. For herd imunity I think they need 75% or 80% uptake to break the chain and continuity of transmission. With that amount closed the virus will head up some dead ends and recoveries will exceed infections.
