This isn’t a dig, but you need to be there to gauge the atmosphere.
It was muted before he scored yesterday. It looked very unlikely we were going to get back into it even at 1-0. They were holding us at arms length.
The crowd will respond to the players if they are sweating blood and flying into tackles, that wasn’t happening yesterday. It was quite despondent and the goal was coming. Clucas scoring it and goading the fans was almost predictable.
If he’d scored in the last minute to put them 3-2 up in a blood and thunder game, then done that, there’d have been more of a reaction. | | | |

I’ll be honest here, I don’t like Clucas. Spending huge money on him played it’s part in our decline. He seems to try harder against us than he used to when he played here.
However, if one of our players was getting abuse every touch at one of his old clubs, then scored and gave some back, I’d love it. Just as I did when Pratley and Tate goaded Cardiff fans. | | | |

Honestly,I would have kept my shirt on and avoided a yellow card.
I would have been quite warm inside to work it up fans who didnt like me cos basically I was crepe for their team.
In fact,I would do what most do and not celebrate conning them into believing I still respect the fans etc. At the end of the day, he got away from our mess for a club so ,if I were he,I d be grateful alright and not full of the shyte he gives.
It proves my point when our fan arent at all 'rsed when they are basically insulted to their faces. It is deeply revealing of our demise. | |

Fundamentally disagree - for me it said much more about Clucas than it did about us, if he had grown up a tad (as opposed to the mental age of a 14/15 year old - apologies to that age group) he would have moved passed his Swansea baggage a couple of seasons back when he scored against at their place & then ran the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of us.
Two years on you’d expect some maturity, thankfully our fans exhibited that he just showed what a complete he is.

If he'd done that in front of the North bank back in the day, the teams would have had to leave the pitch and he'd have done quite nicely if he picked up all the coins thrown at him.

Clucas is a nob but I don't think us fans are worn down by what's happened at our club. We are (if anything) all worn down by what's happened this last 18 months.
