Rumours are swirling like a great big swirly thing that reading are about to be deducted 9 points, and there are other unnamed clubs to potentially follow. It doesn’t say who the unnamed clubs are because then they’d be named and wouldn’t be unnamed anymore.

A naming is always a conflict when unaming is preferred.

Chickens starting to come home to roost. Too many Championship teams have overspent for years chasing the Premier League jackpot. Covid will have sent a lot of them spiralling into trouble.

Does then lead to the problem of relegated sides having an immediate advantage financially, but there's no reason why a well managed, well run outfit, perhaps playing in white, can't buck the odds and win their way back to the top flight.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Blackburn are one of the clubs.

I just did a google search for Vincent Tan.. His daughter is called Crisis… slightly different spelling but it means the same though

I pointed this out pre season, I'm sure i did. A lot of Championship clubs are in financial difficulty. They've been on the edge for years some of them and now the precipice is looming. it could help us.

That lot up the road, they must be feeling quite worried. Tan is cutting costs left right centre and those 3 court cases are still coming but as long as Tan doesn't shaft them, this could help them too.

The greta big swirly thing is swirling and swirling and rumours are bound to spill out. I reckon a few clubs fans eyes will definitely be watering soon. Not tears of joy either.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Reading accept being handed a points deduction with there being also a possibility of more added on, journalist Courtney Friday confirms.

The Royals are set to be hit with a nine-point deduction, which will be applied to the 2021/22 season, following their financial issues.

The Championship outfit have had the prospect of a deduction hanging over them for some time, as the club have exceeded the operating losses that are allowed for second tier clubs, and it was claimed last month that an announcement was due soon.

That would put them on 10 points. 2 behind Cardiff.

They are getting a lot of help this season that’s for sure.

It's the only way that Cardiff will stay up, these clubs having points deductions.

This season. Next season could be even worse for them. A limited squad with, by their chairman's own admission, no money to spend on it. Plus many more millions outstanding left to pay.

If they don't go down this year they'll have to be amongst the favourites to do so next.

I was wondering, if a team is going to have a points deduction, is a good time for it to happen when a few others face the same penalty?

This is the only thing that will save us I reckon….how many will go this season? Deductible points etc? Dam it was looking forward to Tan getting some poetic justice for his failures

Piss all these days….Tan was the 11th wealthiest owner in the PL when we first went up, down a bit last time but probably one of the richest in the championship. Means diddly if you are clueless.
Look at king huw, barely two pence to rub together now a multi millionaire through his dealings with you lot. Fair play to him.
