Heckingbottom has got them playing forward passes quickly and using pace on counter attack . Fulham were at 6s and 7s at the back because they were not set as a defensive unit. Simple but effective . Their French attacking midfielder looked very impressive he scored a great goal. Martin needs to up his game because Forest /Sheff . have shown what can be done in a short space of time .We are treading water in comparison. |  | | |

Sunderland often fall in the play offs but Wigan and Rotherham surely nailed on.Wigan have rebuilt and good on them after difficult years.

I think that losing the last three has put a serious dent in our prospects for this season but it’s a dent not a gaping hole.
Many factors are still to come into play though.
Empty stadia again, the transfer window, COVID infecting our club, COVID infecting opposing club, pressure build up at the sharp end of the season, etc. etc.
I also predict that Grimes is going to drill a free kick into a top corner and we’re going to get a penalty before the end of the season…
