| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I don't think this Turk is in the same league as Chelsea and City's owners. But I agree I'd love a genuine billionaire

For every one of your mega rich clubs there are lots who have gone bust rocketed down the Leagues or even worse. I got no complaints supported us for many a decade now. 4th to the first back down back up to the Prem trips to Wembley the Millenium. European trips via the Welsh Cup and more recently League Cup Would not change it for the world. And we have not had no mega rich tycoon to help us along either. Compare our history to the likes of Rochdale,Darlington or Chester. I have no complaints. [Post edited 24 Jan 2022 19:36]

Indeed. He isnt ray but lets face it,he will reercet Hull. Its a large city with a huge area fan base.Like ours. I still havent forgiven how badly our club was marketed Swansea is a nice enough place;with money a glorious place to live.No more isolated than Newcastle or Sunderland. Passionate fan base desperate for glory and success I d have thought we d be a very attractive proposition. Please let nobody tell me they want to stay "little "

There is the small matter of the Trust. Any buyer for 100% control would need to speak to them. They own 21% of the club. With the club valued at about £45m perhaps the Trust would get less than £10m for their shares before any dilution. I suspect they will demand more and would be more than happy to see the billionaire walk away. Hull will not turn out well. The Turk wants to wave the flag over here and use Turkish players. As we saw in the Euros even their very best were beaten by a limited Welsh team led by fading veterans. Shota is a hero in Turlkiye having played brilliantly for Trabzonspor with his twin brother Arcil. He managerial record iin Tyurkiye is not great. The much maligned US owners of Swansea game Potter £7m and he wasted it on four duds. Celina, McKay, Asoro and John. Silverstein has come out this time to check there are no such repeats. He is not a football man but can get references and speak to knowledgeable people. How Swansea signed McKay still beggars belief.

You make some excellent points on the signings made. I thought more of Celina mind.
