It’s been a while but I’d forgotten just how good he was for us. Some proper magic on there.

And a man who kissed the badge like he meant it.

The one thing that epitomized our teams since the Petty times through Kenny onwards was the teams (some of our end of prem sides apart) always displayed great heart. Looking at our side yesterday and to be fair for the vast majority of the season too many players have not displayed this heart. And also the inability to improvise when faced with two solid banks of four. That’s not all down to the manager - individuals have to have the balls to try something different because the players certainly don’t lack ability.
