From the Owners point of view it would be bad news if the usual moaners and up tight negative people with their spreadsheets screensaver posts and statistics ran the roust unopposed on this forum. It would turn people away.
I showed one thread to one of my mates who is more into the media than sport and he rapidly identified 'group thinking'. A myth repeated 1000's of time then become a fact. A number of these myths are aggressively and repeatedly promoted such that they become fact. There are a number of these
a) The SCST were hard done by, by the sellers..
b) The US owners do not care about he club's form.
c) The SCST will run well and ultimately save the club despite haveng zero financial capabilities
d) Joey Allen was keen to return to Swansea city
e) WoL / BBC Wales are biased against Swansea.
F) Jenkins and Morgan were negative forces for Swansea city.
All these myths are fake news. I do not expect anyone to agree after years of being fed forum chicken feed for decades.
The biggest myth was a). That myth came tumbling down when some one had to push the button and possibly give £10.5m (meant for the club) to London based speculators. The shameful behaviour of the Trust members to further enrich the south east England Wealthy will be a lesson to working people at other clubs.
No one actually agrees with me. This is fine but I was proven correct. My opposing voice was targeted on another forum by forum Divas back in 2013. If they had taken my warnings the Trust would have at least £10m in the bank and possibly as much as £15m. I was banned having broken no rules. This site allows my opinion. It is independent. Came back to see if anything had changed on this site after one of the best results in the club’s long and proud history.
