Will the players be taking the knee next season on 19:17 - Jun 19 by Flashberryjack
I hope not, but I suspect our club will be one of the last to realise how they've been sucked into the world of wokeness.
I think the stand they took was good for a week and maybe a month but it is quite ridiculous now. They're blwdy footballers and not political protesters. Get on with what you are overpaid for.

Ridiculous in the extreme, I suspect there are forces within the club that are pushing their woke views forward.
It is far better IMO for them to direct their concern for black matters elsewhere because "kick racism out of football" existed way before all that Marxist "defund-the-police" WOKE melodrama.
"Kick racsim out of football" was and still is the 'real deal' because its vastly more unifying and not tainted in any way. That is why black commentators to do not criticise it at all, it is the total opposite of BLM.
The West exploits black Africa! The continent produces 40% of the world’s gold, 90% of the world’s platinum, it produces a billion tons of minerals every year and with other stuff aside? There is still poverty, famine and disease.
These vainglorious attention seeking virtue signaling multi-millionaire footballers are better served focusing their attention elsewhere with positive action(s) that are far better than shallow, vacuous zero end product vanity gestures and hot-air.
Argus!

If they turn up at Qatar and take the knee, my TV may well go through the window.
Wales “took the knee” on a number of occasions last week, it was well received and attracted a round of applause. I can remember that in one of the matches when Wales “took the knee” the opposition who had a number of players from minority communities didn’t.
My personal view is that it’s a decision that’s down to the players.

Exactly! To me its a load of over paid hypocritical prima donna's acting like man-child student activists whom do not have an ounce of self awareness.
I liken "taking the knee" to be empty, vacuous non achieving "thoughts and prayers" mentioned by the guy in this YouTube video who asks the profound question
