As much as it frustrates me, yes. We are a long way down his "process" now, if we get rid and appoint a new managr it has to be someone with basically the same ideas or we are starting again.
The big question is, will Martin keep taking 2 steps forward and one back? That is an improvement on the frst 12 months when we took 2 steps forward then a bounding step back. If we keep moving forward and he learns from his mistakes then fine.
Mind you, it also depends on the level of backing he gets from the owners. For me, if we had a decent offer for Piroe right now I'd sell but if we did, how much of the money could he have to reinvest? Will he get any funds in January if we don't sell anyone?

The target is crisp passing football with the sloppiness being seen from defenders being eradicated. This objective is highly ambitious. The players under his guidance need to progress and become more consistent. Piroe is out of form Patterson is not what he was Obafemi is hit and miss, Ntcham has a lot more to give,. Cabango and Darling are making mistakes. Other other hand Cooper Wood and Benda are progressing and the loan players are better. |  |
